This tool weighs just 67 lbs. The frame is constructed from a high-strength, abrasion-resistant steel engineered for used in extreme wear applications.
The splitting teeth are made from high-carbon tool steel and heat treated through their full depth to approximately 58 Rockwell hardness.
Stonekraken is built around a proven hydraulic system from BVA Hydraulics, known for producing high-quality cylinders and pumps used across demanding industrial applications.
There are relatively few fasteners in the tool—and that’s intentional. Each bolt, nut, and interface point was selected for strength and reliability, proper load distribution, and long-term durability.
This also includes advanced internal sealing for long service life, a robust return spring for consistent retraction, reliable performance under repeated load cycles, and the system is rated for up to 70,000 cycles under proper operating conditions.
Return & Refund Policy
At Brown Brothers Tool Company LLC (“BBTC”), we build tools to go straight to work. That said, if you get a Stonekraken and decide it’s not for you before it’s been used, we’ll take it back.
Returns
We accept returns within 14 days of delivery, as long as:
• The tool is unused (has not been put into service at all)
• It’s in original condition, with no wear, damage, or modification
• All original parts and packaging are included
Once the tool has been used—even briefly—it’s considered in service and no longer eligible for return.

We can’t accept returns for:
• Tools that have been used in any capacity
• Tools that have been modified or altered
• Damage caused by misuse, handling, or storage issues
• Hydraulic components (these are covered under a separate manufacturer’s warranty)
